Skiing in one of the most beautiful areas in the Alps!
Espace Killy forms a ski-area consisting of Val d’Isère and Tignes. The area has threehundred kilometer continuous slopes, located between 1550 meters and 3456 meters high. Espace Killy even includes two glaciers! Because of the altitude the lifts are already open at the 28th of November and at they’re closing at the 11th of May they. De lifts at the sub-part Tignes les Brévières are open from the 12th of December till the 1st of May.
The ski area is suitable for every type of skier. For beginners there are, next to the many blue slopes in this area, the slow zones. These zones consist of very wide runs and are not allowed for skiers with high speed. For the enthousiasts of more challenging and steeper slopes, there are plenty of other options, like the red and black slopes.
But it’s not only the pistes which attract skiers from all over the world. The off pistes in this ski-area are one of the best in the world! Unfortunately off piste activities brings the risks of avalanches. Therefore we advise everyone who has little understanding of off pistes to go along with a guide. We can arrange a guide for you. For those who do have the understanding of avalanches, but don’t know the best routes, Paul has always some good tips for you.
Ski passes
You can order your ski passes directly while booking. In this way you don’t have to arrange them by yourself, which is time consuming. The passes are available when you arrive at hotel Le Genépy. Upon arrival, it’s still possible to change your passes.
Prices:
A 6 day SKIPASS Espace Killy Adults €260, – // Children and seniors * €208,–
*Children are considered from 5 to 14 years, seniors are considered from 65 to 74 years. When you are younger than 4 years and older than 75 , the skipasses are free!
A 6 days family SKIPASS Espace Killy Euro 832, –
A family should consist of 2 adults and at least 2 children up to 18 years. When the children are up to 21 years they can also join this family ski pass, provided that they have a student card with them.
